Violinists Ilya Movchan and Andrey Zabavnikov, cellist Ilya Pashintsev, theorbo player Asya Grechishcheva, and Daria Gushcha at the harpsichord and positive organ form a flexible ensemble sound, where every detail is important. The program covers different aspects of Handel's style. The cantatas "Lucretia" and "The Abandoned Armida" are structured as mini-dramas, where the music follows the word. Arias from "Julius Caesar in Egypt", "Faramondo", and the oratorio "The Triumph of Time and Disappointment" reveal contrasts of characters and states.
