The musical-poetic evening will connect urban and salon romances with the live sound of a choir and poetry. Romance is a genre where word and melody are especially closely linked. The audience can expect an evening where lyrical texts and choral sound come together in a calm and emotional program. The romances will be performed by the choir of the Central Naval Museum "Neva Wave" and soloists of the ensemble. The artistic director of the choir is Marina Vorotova. The program features salon and urban romances - music that addresses personal experiences, memory, tenderness, and subtle shades of mood. A special part of the evening will be poetic interludes. Between musical numbers, poems will be recited by Nikolai Vasilenko, the winner of the television contest "Blue Bird." Where to go in St. Petersburg can be found on our website.
