In the space of Petrikirche, organ classics and the paintings of Marc Chagall will organically merge. In the darkest and gloomiest time of the year, the walls of Petrikirche will be adorned with bright and elevated images from the canvases of Marc Chagall. St. Petersburg organist Olga Kotlyarova and soprano from Moscow Tatyana Lansky will perform works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Antonio Vivaldi, Ludwig van Beethoven, as well as contemporary composers Yann Tiersen, Ludovico Einaudi, and Hans Zimmer. The program will serve as an organic accompaniment to the video installation of Marc Chagall's paintings, one of the brightest representatives of the Russian avant-garde. In his canvases, he often depicted musicians, as music is close to painting - it can convey what cannot be expressed in words: the immense love that permeates the world.
