Popular classical music from different eras will be performed by an organ and piano duo. In the ancient Lutheran church, compositions by Baroque and contemporary composers will be heard. The Baroque part of the program will feature works by Johann Sebastian Bach and Antonio Vivaldi. The contemporary part of the program will consist of masterpieces of film music written by renowned composers. Melodic and meditative pieces by the Italian Ludovico Einaudi, known from the films of Clint Eastwood, Russell Crowe, and Darren Aronofsky, will be performed. The composer has received numerous awards and was nominated for an Oscar. Concert guests will also hear music by the outstanding German-American film composer Hans Zimmer.
