Olesya Kravchenko's program will unite masterpieces by Johann Sebastian Bach and works by composers inspired by his legacy. On this evening, the grand historical organ will feature compositions by Bach and composers who engaged in dialogue with him centuries later. The program will open with the grand fantasies of Liszt and Reger on the theme of the musical monogram B-A-C-H - encoded in notes of the maestro's name. Bach's legacy in the 19th century will be represented by works of Mendelssohn, and his interpretation in the 20th century - by the works of Miloš Sokola. Performed by international competition laureate Olesya Kravchenko, music from different eras will come together in a single narrative.
