Rock hits by AC/DC, Queen, Scorpions, Metallica, and other bands will be performed in symphonic versions. When rock compositions transition to orchestral sound, familiar melodies start to work differently. Guitar riffs receive support from strings, drum impulses become broader, and vocal parts resonate alongside a large instrumental texture. The concert program features songs from the repertoire of AC/DC, The Who, Queen, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Scorpions, Depeche Mode, Kiss, Rolling Stones, Metallica, Rammstein, Eagles, Deep Purple, Europe, and Bon Jovi. The iconic songs will be performed by the Symphony Orchestra of the St. Petersburg Cappella under the direction of conductor Eduard Dyadyura.
