Oleg Weinstein's performance reveals complex images and subtle shades of the compositions, allowing one to feel the richness of the piano palette. The program of the evening features two major names of the Romantic era - Robert Schumann and Sergei Rachmaninoff. The central focus will be on piano compositions, performed by Oleg Weinstein. One of the works will be Schumann's "Kreisleriana" - a cycle of eight pieces inspired by the eccentric conductor Johann Kreisler from the works of Ernst Theodor Amadeus Hoffmann. The evening will continue with Rachmaninoff's music. Five Etudes-Tableaux will showcase the rich palette of piano sound, blending virtuosity, drama, and vivid musical imagery. The evening will conclude with the performance of Sonata No. 2 in B-flat minor.
