The State Kremlin Orchestra is preparing a vibrant evening for those who love to recognize familiar melodies from the very first notes. Under the direction of Konstantin Chudovsky, compositions by Tchaikovsky, Grieg, Bach, Mascagni, Offenbach, and other composers will be performed, while the lyrical tenor Alexey Tatartsev will add a special emotional expressiveness to the program. The program is built on the contrast of moods and national colors. Episodes from Pyotr Tchaikovsky's ballets, Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov's swift "Flight of the Bumblebee," Edward Grieg's lyrical "Morning," Intermezzo from Pietro Mascagni's opera, the legendary Can-Can by Jacques Offenbach, the tango "Por una Cabeza" by Carlos Gardel, the textbook "Joke" by Johann Sebastian Bach, Gabriel Fauré's Pavane, and Camille Saint-Saëns' "The Swan" from the cycle "Carnival of the Animals" will be performed. Each piece is easily recognizable from the first notes and simultaneously reveals new shades in live performance. At the podium of the orchestra is the artistic director and chief conductor Konstantin Chudovsky. His work is built on clear dramaturgy and a precise sense of form: the change of episodes is perceived as a cohesive narrative, alternating festive, contemplative, and truly dramatic moments. Familiar scores acquire a fresh rhythm, and familiar melodies sound as if they have been reinterpreted. A special role in the evening is played by tenor Alexey Tatartsev, a soloist of the Moscow theater "New Opera" and a guest artist of the Bolshoi Theater of Russia. His participation adds a vocal line to the program that naturally continues the orchestral part and enhances the emotional climaxes. The State Kremlin Orchestra has existed since 2019 and has already managed to gain a stable audience. The ensemble performs at leading venues in Moscow, tours across the country, and has been awarded the international "BraVo" prize in the "Orchestra of the Year" category.
