An evening of classical music featuring Rustam Komachkov and Varvara Myagkova - a dialogue between cello and piano in an exquisite romantic program. Works by Brahms and Schumann will be performed live with a delicate interpretation and rare arrangements that reveal a new sound to well-known masterpieces. The combination of cello and piano has long been considered one of the most expressive forms of chamber performance. On December 2, at the A. Shnitke Hall, listeners will be able to hear this combination performed by Rustam Komachkov and Varvara Myagkova - musicians well known to connoisseurs of the classical scene. They will present a program based on the works of two of the greatest representatives of German Romanticism - Robert Schumann and Johannes Brahms. At the center of the evening are chamber masterpieces, including Schumann's "Three Fantastic Pieces," "Adagio and Allegro," "Five Pieces in Folk Style," and Brahms' Second Sonata for Cello and Piano. The program will also feature a rare arrangement of the Scherzo in D minor from the F-A-E Sonata, created by Komachkov himself. This fragment was part of a collective composition intended as a gift for the violinist Joachim and became an independent work due to its vivid individuality and depth.
