The magical suite by Edvard Grieg will be performed on organ and two pianos under the arches of Petrikirche. The drama by Norwegian playwright Henrik Ibsen "Peer Gynt" was first presented to the audience in 1867. In 1875, at the request of the playwright, his outstanding compatriot - composer Edvard Grieg, who, like Ibsen, fought for the revival of national art, wrote the music for the drama. Eight orchestral pieces for the performance formed two suites, which are very popular today and exist in numerous arrangements. On this evening, the music for "Peer Gynt" will be performed by organist Anastasia Sidelnikova and the piano duo Duo Élan.
