Sparkling New Year songs performed on the piano under the starry dome of the planetarium - an inspiring way to spend New Year's Eve. New Year's Eve, beautiful music, endless cosmos - the ingredients of an unusual concert in an unusual place. Under the giant dome of the Petersburg Planetarium, famous melodies will acquire a new sound. Pianist Ilya Shchekleyin will present Christmas hits from the movies "Home Alone" and "Love Actually", the Harry Potter saga, and melodies by Hans Zimmer and John Williams. Compositions known from Hollywood blockbusters will be performed in the huge hall in combination with a full-dome multimedia show. Vocal duties will be handled by Maxim Yakovlev - an artist of the Alexandrinsky Theatre, laureate and holder of the Grand Prix prize of the vocal competition-festival "Singing Mask" named after Andrei Petrov.
