From Mozart to Franck - this chamber evening at the Gogol House will be a musical journey through the ages. The chamber concert "Path to Romanticism" at the Gogol House will connect two stylistically different worlds - the clarity and harmony of classicism and the emotional richness of romanticism. The program will open with the Quartet for Flute and String Trio in G Major by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart - graceful, transparent, and full of lightness. Next, the Serenade for Flute and Strings by Ludwig van Beethoven will be performed: his language is filled with tension and drama. The concert will conclude with the powerful and multilayered Trio by César Franck in an arrangement for flute, cello, and piano - the culmination of romantic expression. The program will be performed by flutist Evgeny Norbutas, the arranger of Franck's trio, pianist Ekaterina Linnik, cellist Sofiko Khurtsia, violist Anastasia Nikolaeva, and violinist Zakhar Korotchenkov. KudaGo features the current program in Moscow.
