Popular masterpieces of classical music will be performed by an unexpected ensemble surrounded by hundreds of flickering candles. The light of hundreds of candles will reflect in glass bowls filled with water, creating a sense of magic. On this evening, the glass harp will participate in the concert - an instrument that rarely sounds in concert halls but can enchant anyone with its crystal timbre. Alongside the organ and soprano, familiar works will be performed for every listener. Toccata and Fugue in D minor is one of the most popular works of the German genius of the Baroque era, Johann Sebastian Bach. It was first published in 1833 thanks to the efforts of Felix Mendelssohn, who rediscovered Bach's creations for the world. 'Ave Maria' by Franz Schubert is one of the most famous works on the text of a Catholic prayer, to which composers from different eras have turned. The whimsical and fantastic 'Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy' from Tchaikovsky's ballet 'The Nutcracker' fits perfectly with the timbre of the glass harp.
