The evening will unite rock and classical music performed by a cello ensemble. Famous compositions by the Finnish band will be played amidst hundreds of candles and ancient architecture. The program is dedicated to the work of the Finnish group Apocalyptica, which has proven that cellos can convey rock power just as well as electric guitars. The hall will be filled with the deep sound of string instruments, and the soft candlelight will emphasize the atmosphere of the concert. The ensemble "Violonchelica," consisting of international competition winners, will perform the most famous works of the group. Pieces such as Nothing Else Matters, Unforgiven, Path, No education, and other compositions, including famous rock hit arrangements and original music, will be played. The special acoustics of the historical building will give familiar melodies a new sound.
