The concert "Songs of Midnight: Italian Renaissance" is a special musical event that brings to life the sounds of Europe from the 16th to the early 17th century. The program is structured as a journey through space and style, where strict polyphony gives way to new expressiveness and baroque affects. On stage is a chamber ensemble: voice, two lutes, viola da gamba, and harpsichord. The repertoire includes works by Francesco da Milano, Girolamo Frescobaldi, Claudio Monteverdi, as well as rare miniatures from Spanish, French, and Italian masters. These pieces were performed in aristocratic salons, and today they resonate as an intimate dialogue with the past.
