A theatrical concert based on Henrik Ibsen's play with the magical music of Edvard Grieg will take place in an ancient church. The walls will be adorned with shimmering art projections. Ibsen believed he wrote the play "Peer Gynt" for "internal use," yet the work gained fame far beyond the borders of Norway and Scandinavia. The protagonist's lifelong journey, the story of self-discovery and love, and the philosophical questions raised by the author-all of this has solidified the play's place among the great works of all time. Ibsen's compatriot, composer Edvard Grieg, interpreted the play in music, creating a musical accompaniment for the performance. Very soon, his music gained independence and began to be performed as a suite. That evening, Edvard Grieg's suite will be performed by the "Orchestra 1703," the play will be performed by actress Anastasia Lazareva, and colorful video art by Daria Kotyukh will transport the audience into a fantastic atmosphere.
