The works of the most mysterious violinist in history will be performed by one of the brightest soloists of his generation. Two large-scale compositions by Paganini will reveal their virtuosic power - from the delicate ringing of "Campanella" to the dramatic monologues of the violin. He was considered a genius, a mystic, a showman, and even a servant of the devil - Niccolò Paganini remains one of the most ambiguous figures in the history of classical music. And his concerts still hold that very magic, capable of capturing attention from the first notes. On the stage of the Chamber Hall, the soloist of the Moscow Philharmonic, Gayk Kazazyan, will perform - a violinist with an impressive resume and a bright stage presence. His partner will be the State Academic Symphony Chapel of Russia conducted by Artemiy the Great. In this program, two violin concertos by Paganini will be performed - No. 2 and No. 3, each of which occupies a special place in the history of music. Concerto No. 2 in B minor, better known for its finale "Campanella", is considered Paganini's calling card. The final part with its characteristic bell-like melodies, inspired by the ringing of carnival bells, has become an anthem of virtuosity and filigree technique. The violin part is rich in the tiniest embellishments and sound effects, making the performance especially captivating. Concerto No. 3 in E major remained in the shadows for a long time - after the composer's death, it was not performed for over a hundred years.
