A concert dedicated to the 130th anniversary of the birth of Sergei Yesenin will unite music and poetry in one poignant evening. Works inspired by the poet's verses will be performed by a men's choir, a folk instruments ensemble, and theater artists. This event will provide a rare opportunity to feel the power of words through music. The project "Sergei Yesenin. I Do Not Regret, I Do Not Call, I Do Not Weep" is a musical and poetic evening dedicated to the 130th anniversary of the birth of one of Russia's most significant poets. The concert combines the creativity of outstanding composers and the depth of Yesenin's poetry, revealing the emotional palette of the works through vocals, choral singing, and the sound of folk instruments. Music to the verses of Sergei Yesenin is a special direction in domestic art. Its foundation is sincerity, simplicity, and deep emotionality. The program will feature romances and songs inspired by the poet's works: "Letter to Mother", "The Golden Grove Spoke", "I Do Not Regret, I Do Not Call, I Do Not Weep", "Maple, My Fallen" and others. Their authors include such outstanding composers as Georgy Sviridov, Tikhon Khrennikov, Mark Fradkin, Alexander Flyarkovsky, Grigory Ponomarenko, Alexey Lipatov. On stage will perform the Moscow Men's Concert Choir under the direction of the Honored Artist of Russia Valery Rybin, the folk instruments ensemble "Admiral", and the artist of the theater "Lenkom of Mark Zakharov" Dmitry Maltsev, who will be the voice of artistic word.
