An evening of slow music, where time seems to slow down. The Cappella Orchestra has gathered a lyrical-philosophical selection of Andante and Adagio - from Baroque to the 21st century. The program includes Haydn, Mozart, Chopin, Massenet, Mahler, Shostakovich, and contemporary Tursunov, with soloists adding the brilliance of flute, clarinet, violin, and piano. At the center of the evening is the St. Petersburg Cappella Symphony Orchestra conducted by Ivan Stolbov. The sound will change in hue from Baroque precision to romantic confessionalism and further - to the intonations of the 20th and 21st centuries.
