On this evening, generations, traditions, and innovation will come together on stage. The Voronezh Orchestra will present the rarely performed "Concert Fantasy" by Tchaikovsky, as well as Symphony No. 4 - dramatic and expressive. A mysterious symphonic picture by Lyadov, inspired by legends and dreams, will also be performed. Classical music has the ability to tell stories, penetrate the deepest layers of feelings, and create a special experience of the moment. The program for this evening includes works that, despite their classical status, sound fresh, emotional, and sometimes unexpected. Compositions written in different years will be performed, united by delicate expressiveness and internal dramaturgy. The concert will open with the symphonic picture "The Enchanted Lake" by Anatoly Lyadov. This piece is based on Slavic myths and tales. It seems to bring to life fantastic landscapes: the shimmering of water, the whisper of trees, the tenuous boundary between reality and imagination. Lyadov masterfully conveys the atmosphere of a dream, creating a picturesque musical canvas. Next, Symphony No. 4 in F minor by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky will be performed. This is one of the most intense and rich compositions of the composer, filled with internal conflicts, struggle, and hope. The orchestra guides the listener from the anxious fanfares of the introduction through waltz-like tenderness and folk motifs - to a powerful climax. The final highlight is the "Concert Fantasy" for piano and orchestra. This piece by Tchaikovsky is performed much less frequently than his piano concertos, but is no less brilliant. The solo instrument here reveals itself in a new way: free form, virtuosic passages, and musical dialogues with the orchestra create an engaging sound. At the conductor's podium are Vladimir and Igor Verbitsky. The soloist is pianist Philip Kopachevsky. Their interpretation of the program promises to be deep and sensitive.
