The Orchestra of the Sofia Gubaidulina Center for Contemporary Music is preparing a concert featuring premieres by Russian and foreign composers. Contemporary academic music is not only about experiments and complex forms but also a living dialogue between cultures, eras, and artistic directions. The concert invites listeners to look into the very heart of this dialogue: both world compositions and Russian premieres created specifically for the "Synesthesia Lab" festival will be performed on stage. The orchestra is conducted by Roman Parkhomenko. Under his direction, compositions by composers from different countries will be performed: Matteo Cenerini and Francesco Mariotti (Italy), Cory Reeder (USA), and Dècìn Wén Pèimìr (China).
