When you want a celebration without the hustle and bustle, academic music - and a little magic - comes to the rescue. The piano duo will combine in one program "The Nutcracker", "On the Beautiful Blue Danube", Sviridov's "Snowstorm", and Tariverdiev's waltz, while sand animation will draw a whole story before the audience's eyes - from snowy whirlwinds to cinematic scenes. The New Year is easily recognized by its music. Just the first few notes, and lights, the crunch of snow underfoot, and the anticipation of a miracle flash in memory. In this program, these feelings are supported by the piano duo of Tatiana Chistyakova and Alexey Kudryashov. Two pianos provide volume and brilliance while maintaining clarity: each melody sounds close and understandable even to those who rarely attend academic concerts. The evening is structured as a journey through different "New Year" languages. The waltz from Vladimir Rebikov's opera "The Christmas Tree", pages from Tchaikovsky's ballet score, and the famous "Blue Danube" by Johann Strauss come together. In the second part, musical illustrations by Sviridov for "Snowstorm", Tsfasman's "Jazz Suite", and Tariverdiev's waltz from the film "The Irony of Fate, or Enjoy Your Bath" appear. Thus, classical music, cinema, and jazz meet without dispute - as different facets of one celebration. A special detail is the sand animation by Victoria Volodina. The drawing is created in real time, changing with the tempo and dynamics, adding plots and associations.
