A cosmic musical journey accompanied by the sounds of the organ and chamber orchestra is complemented by the multimedia installation «The Universe Through the Eyes of the Hubble Telescope». This vibrant show unites music and visual art. A video sequence, specially created for this project, will be projected onto the walls of the cathedral: photographs of space taken by the Hubble telescope. Stunning shapes and colors, incredible cosmic expanses will be accompanied by the music of contemporary composers in the style of «neoclassicism». Works by the Italian master of meditative melodies Ludovico Einaudi, British film composer and pianist Max Richter, Oscar-winning Japanese composer Ryuichi Sakamoto, and Icelandic film composer Jóhann Jóhannsson, who wrote music for Denis Villeneuve's films, will be performed. The program will be performed by the chamber orchestra NÉOrchestra under the direction of Ivan Nuzhin and organist Dmitry Maximенко. To find out more details, click the «Buy Ticket» button.
