About

A family story that resonates on stage: the concert of the Petrov-Artamonov dynasty unites the digital V-accordion, the voice of a bass-baritone, and the piano. Here, one can hear how tradition is passed down from generation to generation - in live intonations, nuances, and the character of each piece. The evening provides a feeling of warm conversation and the true presence of musicians nearby. There are concerts that resemble a family album: in them, common roots, habits, characters, and how the language of music changes over time can be heard. On this evening, several generations of the Tver musical dynasty Petrov-Artamonov meet on stage. The format is particularly interesting as different "instrumental voices" sound together: the digital V-accordion and music-computer technologies, classical piano, and academic vocals. Natalia Petrova is a performer on the digital accordion, an arranger, and a researcher associated with the laboratory of music-computer technologies at the Herzen State Pedagogical University. Therefore, in the program, it is important not only what is played but also how the sound is structured: timbre, dynamics, the "breath" of the phrase, and the precision of accents. Mikhail Artamonov, a bass-baritone, studies at the Tver Musical College named after M. P. Mussorgsky and performs on the competitive stage - his part adds a human intonation, direct and clear, to the instrumental canvas. Alexander Artamonov at the piano holds the structure and provides support: rhythm, balance, a transparent line. This meeting is suitable for those who love chamber format and want to listen attentively. It is easy to catch how one family’s "musical upbringing" manifests in different roles - and how each performer retains their own handwriting. Teenagers will be curious to see how the digital instrument works in live performance, while adults will catch the rare feeling of continuity when experience and youth stand side by side. The concert takes place as part of the "Silver Age" project, but interest in it does not depend on age: the evening is designed for everyone who appreciates music without loud effects. After such a performance, one feels like...
