An evening in the mansion of the legendary prima ballerina Matilda Kshesinskaya inspired by the social salons of the early Silver Age. Concertgoers will feel like guests at a social reception in the early 20th century. They will walk up the luxurious marble staircase straight into the Grand Hall, where they will be greeted with a sweet compliment. The concert will take place there, featuring works by outstanding composers from Pyotr Tchaikovsky to Sergei Prokofiev. Thanks to the intimacy and exquisite interiors of the Grand Hall, it retains the feeling of home musical evenings. In the early 20th century, Matilda Kshesinskaya's mansion was the center of bohemian life in St. Petersburg, frequented by stars of the musical and theatrical scene, social elite, and grand dukes from the Romanov family. During the 1917 revolution, the building was looted, and it hosted meetings of the Bolsheviks, with Vladimir Lenin speaking from its balcony. Currently, the historical grand interiors have been restored.
