The audience awaits a rare encounter with musical synthesis - works from Italy, Spain, and Latin America will be performed by an orchestra traditionally associated with Russian folklore. The Academic Orchestra of Russian Folk Instruments named after N.N. Nekrasov, celebrating its anniversary, will embark on a creative journey through the brightest musical countries, reinterpreting classics through the prism of the balalaika, gusli, bayan, and domra. Melodies by Albéniz and Sarasate, Rossini and Donizetti, as well as passionate compositions by Astor Piazzolla will present themselves in an unexpected, multilayered sound. This musical intertwining of different traditions will demonstrate how flexible and expressive the academic approach, based on the Russian orchestration school, can be.
