Masterpieces by composers from different eras, whose music has become an integral part of cinema, will be performed within the walls of an ancient cathedral by organ, violin, and flute. Music for the big screen is a distinct form of modern art, where emotions are woven into the very score. At the concert, listeners will hear an original interpretation of works by well-known representatives of the genre: Ennio Morricone, Nino Rota, Hans Zimmer, and Ludovico Einaudi. Special attention in the program is given to the choral preludes of Johann Sebastian Bach, which, alongside modern compositions, feature in famous films. On this evening, the historic organ will be played by organist Fyodor Stroganov. Joining him in the ensemble will be violinist Tamara Egorova and flutist Nina Limanskaya.
