The music of two genius composers originally resonated in palaces performed by the authors themselves. Concertgoers will be able to immerse themselves in the atmosphere that prevailed at the performances of renowned musicians in the 18th and 19th centuries. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Frédéric Chopin most often performed their compositions in luxurious salons for a small circle of aristocratic admirers. Both composers were also among the greatest performers of their time. On this evening, organ music by Mozart and piano masterpieces by Chopin will be performed. The concert will take place in the format of a keyboard battle, inspired by the ancient tradition of musical competitions. In this musical duel, there will definitely be no loser! This unusual concert will captivate both seasoned classical listeners and those who are just beginning to discover its diversity. Performers - leading musicians from St. Petersburg, laureates of international competitions, soloists and guest musicians from the Mariinsky Theatre and the St. Petersburg Philharmonic. Duration of the concert: 1 hour without intermission. Photo: provided by the organizer.
