Pushkin and the music of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Requiem create a special form of stage expression. The play "Mozart and Salieri" has long been considered not only a reflection on the fate of a genius but also a subtle philosophical allegory. At the center of the action is the question of the nature of envy, talent, and the meaning of creativity. However, in the context of the musical drama, these themes acquire new depth and sound: scenes of tragedy are interspersed with fragments from "The Marriage of Figaro" and the Requiem.
