The poem by Venedikt Erofeev "Moscow - Petushki" is a cult work that reflects the depth of the Russian soul through the lens of philosophical reflections and irony. Actor Pavel Maikov, known for his roles in theater and film, together with the Ensemble of Soloists of the National Academic Orchestra of Folk Instruments of Russia named after Nikolai Osipov, will present a unique interpretation of this literary masterpiece. Venedikt Erofeev, who created the poem "Moscow - Petushki", left an indelible mark on Russian literature. His work, written in 1969, was long circulated in samizdat, gaining popularity among readers long before its official publication. The main character, Venichka, embarks on a journey from Moscow to Petushki, delving into reflections on life, culture, and politics, accompanied by irony and deep philosophical subtext. Pavel Maikov, an actor in theater and film, known for his roles in series and musicals, will present his interpretation of this work. In this project, Maikov will act as the narrator, conveying the emotional depth and complexity of the character Venichka. The musical accompaniment will be provided by the Ensemble of Soloists of the National Academic Orchestra of Folk Instruments of Russia named after Nikolai Osipov, conducted by Evgeny Volchkov. The ensemble, known for its interpretations of Russian folk music, will add a special atmosphere and depth to the narrative, creating a unique synthesis of word and music.
