A touching evening in honor of the 125th anniversary of Ivan Kozlovsky will unite young artists, stars of the opera stage, and young vocalists. Works by Tchaikovsky, Glinka, and foreign composers will be performed by soloists of the Bolshoi Theatre, a tenor ensemble, and the V.S. Popov Children's Choir. In the chamber hall of MMDM, a concert dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the legendary tenor Ivan Semyonovich Kozlovsky - a great performer known as the "singer of love" and the "Russian nightingale" - will take place. This evening will gather artists of the new generation to honor the memory of the master who inspired dozens of generations of listeners and singers. The program will feature works by Tchaikovsky, Glinka, and foreign classics, as well as vocal pieces close to Kozlovsky himself. They will be presented by winners of international competitions - soloists of the Youth Program of the Bolshoi Theatre and the International Tenor Ensemble, as well as the Concert Orchestra conducted by Alexey Gubarev. A special place in the concert will be occupied by the participation of the V.S. Popov Children's Choir. Under the direction of Grigory Zhuravlyov, the young singers will perform classical pieces with the sincerity and purity that Kozlovsky himself valued so much. This will give the evening a bright and touching atmosphere. Ivan Kozlovsky was not only a star of the opera stage - Alfred in "La Traviata", Lensky in "Eugene Onegin", the Holy Fool in "Boris Godunov" - but also a great performer of chamber music. He continued to perform on stage until the age of 87, leaving behind a repertoire that became a benchmark for new generations. Many of these works will be performed this evening, opening a new chapter in the life of the great legacy.
