The concert from the series "In the Noise of Music and Dance" will reveal the expressiveness of the domra, bass trombone, and piano. The program includes Bach, Vivaldi, Glazunov, Lyadov, folk melodies, and other compositions. The domra and bass trombone rarely meet in one program, and it is this combination that creates the main interest of the evening. One instrument is associated with a flexible, ringing, almost graphic line, while the other is linked to deep breathing and a rich timbre. Together, they allow us to hear familiar pages of academic music in a different way: more vividly, more freely, with unexpected shades. The program features arrangements of works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Antonio Vivaldi, and Tommaso Antonio Vitali, lyrical compositions by Alexander Glazunov, Mily Balakirev, and Anatoly Lyadov, arrangements of folk melodies, as well as original compositions by Alexey Lebedev and Ernst Sachs. On stage will be students from the string folk department of the Modest Mussorgsky Music College from the classes of Irina Isakova and Inna Snigireva, as well as a student from the St. Petersburg Music Lyceum from the class of Kirill Lobikov.
