In the mansion that belonged to Baroness Nadezhda von Meck, the Gloria quartet will perform by candlelight with the participation of ballerinas. The evening will take place in the house of Baroness von Meck, who patronized outstanding musicians, including Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. The 19th-century mansion, which houses the Chess Museum and the Russian Chess Federation, has recently been restored to its luxurious original appearance. In the unique atmosphere of the mansion, illuminated by candlelight, Christmas music from different centuries will be performed by the Gloria ensemble, which includes string instruments, flute, and harp. A special festive mood will be created this evening by an exquisite dance performed by professional ballerinas. The vibrant and diverse program includes popular works by classical composers, as well as contemporary composers such as John Williams, Bobby Helms, Bing Crosby, and many others.
