The concert-lecture in memory of Shostakovich promises to be a unique cultural experience. This musical journey through the biography of the great composer intertwines live music with stories about the fate and creative path of one of the symbols of the 20th century. At the Central Library named after M.Y. Lermontov, a concert-lecture dedicated to the memory of Dmitry Dmitrievich Shostakovich - one of the greatest composers of the 20th century, whose work became the voice of the era - will take place. The musical and educational program will be presented by graduates of the Glinka Choral School - laureates of national and international competitions Alexander Palehov and Nikita Mikhailov. Alexander is known as a vocalist, conductor, and finalist of the project "Blue Bird", while Nikita is recognized as an artist with a vibrant stage temperament and a deep approach to repertoire. The audience will not only hear iconic works of Shostakovich but also learn about the dramatic events of his life, the challenges of his creative path, and his unique role in the history of Russian music. Personal stories, archival facts, and live emotions will create an atmosphere of sincere dialogue with the listeners. The event is organized by the youth creative association "AliArta", which has a history of bold projects, musical productions, educational games, and cultural initiatives. This event will be part of their project "Silver Age", which connects generations through art. We share on KudaGo where to go in St. Petersburg this weekend for free.
