On a summer evening, music by Bach, Brahms, Paganini, and Saint-Saëns for violin and piano will be performed. Performed by the laureate of all-Russian and international competitions, assistant intern at the Moscow Conservatory, Serafima Kleimenova, the program will present a cohesive musical journey where different eras and characters come together. The piano part will be played by Madina Nabiullina. The program will open with Johann Sebastian Bach's Sonata for Violin and Keyboard No. 4 in C minor BWV 1017. This will be followed by the first movement of Johannes Brahms' Violin Concerto in D major. The contrast will be provided by the caprices of Niccolò Paganini. The sixteenth and twenty-fourth caprices demand freedom, virtuosity, and the ability to maintain tension in solo performance from the artist. The program will conclude with Camille Saint-Saëns' "Havanaise." After the concert, visitors will be able to view the exhibition "War and the Sacred: Prayer, Sacrifice, Name" for free.
