The concert program will unite classical music, jazz, and movie melodies. Students and graduates of the Gnessin Music College will perform in the concert. They will play compositions by Bach, Mozart, Tchaikovsky, Dunaevsky, Malyarov, Shalov, and other composers. The stage will be shared by vocalists and instrumentalists. Lyrical arias will alternate with lively numbers, strict baroque with broad cantilena and melodies familiar from cinema and concert stages. Folk instruments will add a special color: the domra, balalaika, gusli, bayan, and accordion will reinterpret classical scores and demonstrate how expressively classical repertoire sounds in a different timbral palette. The concert is part of the "Music Without Borders" series. Entertainment in Moscow is collected on our website.
