The great symphony of Brahms, born after many years of contemplation and self-exploration, will be performed by the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of Russia named after Svetlanov. Johannes Brahms' First Symphony is one of the most anticipated and discussed works of the 19th century. The composer created it over 20 years, carefully considering every detail. Inspired by Beethoven, he aimed for perfect form and expressiveness. When the symphony finally saw the light, it was called "Beethoven's Tenth Symphony," noting the continuity and grandeur of the idea. At this concert, the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of Russia named after Svetlanov, conducted by Marius Stravinsky, will perform this monumental work, which combines drama, depth, and solemnity. An addition to the program will be one of the most famous works of Richard Wagner - "The Ride of the Valkyries" from the opera "Die Walküre." This music is known from numerous films and theatrical productions.
