The collaboration of Silence Quartet and Alexey Sysuev transports the listener into the world of intuitive music. Poetic scores, freedom of interpretation, musical strategies, and an experimental spirit create an unpredictable sound, where each note is a step into uncharted territory. In the space of the DK "Rassvet", a unique musical event will take place - the concert "Intuitive Music. Stockhausen and Sysuev". The program, assembled by Silence Quartet together with composer Alexey Sysuev, represents a live performance where improvisation, experimentation, and open forms become full-fledged participants in the action. The key event of the evening will be the first performance in Russia of Karlheinz Stockhausen's composition "Für kommende Zeiten" (1968-1970). This work is created in the genre of intuitive music, where instead of traditional notes, performers are given a poetic text - flexible, multi-meaning, provoking a creative response. Each participant can choose instruments and methods of interpretation. One of the performers, Mateo Rivas, recently worked on this piece with Markus Stockhausen, the composer's son, at the Stockhausen Concerts and Courses Kürten festival. In addition, the text score by Alexey Sysuev "Wallpapers" will be performed. This is a constructor piece, where each performer independently chooses and arranges the given "strategies" before the performance: "silence", "intersection", "imitation", and others. It results in a kind of game within the ensemble, where no one knows what the other will do. Silence Quartet is a collective of percussionists specializing in contemporary academic music, improvisation, and theatrical forms. Their concerts are always on the border of genres and formats. Alexey Sysuev is one of the leading Russian composers of new music, a laureate of the "Golden Mask" and the Kuryokhin Prize.
