The program features music from the 20th and 21st centuries, where strict precision coexists with endless energy. The "Saxophone Game" quartet presents a program composed of works for four saxophones. It includes compositions by Michael Nyman and Philip Glass, pieces by Jun Nagao and Philip Geiss, and compositions from the suite "Cities" by Guillermo Lago and "Game of People" by Efrem Podgaitz. The ensemble has existed since 2021 and unites students and graduates of the Secondary Special Music School of the St. Petersburg Conservatory. The ensemble actively performs, participates in competitions and festivals. Its lineup includes soprano, tenor, alto, and baritone saxophones, allowing for a wide range of sound and texture.
