Organ and guitar - a rare duet capable of uniting epochs and traditions. Two musicians will present a program where baroque meets Latin American rhythms. Elizaveta Borodaeva has been awarded a prestigious national prize in the field of organ performance and became the winner of the XII International Tariverdiev Competition. Dmitry Borodaev teaches at the Moscow Conservatory and is a recipient of the Moscow Government Award. Together they will perform Edwin Lemare's fantasy on themes from "Carmen", three Spanish dances and the adagio from Joaquín Rodrigo's "Aranjuez", a courante by Juan Cabanilles, an etude by Andrés Segovia, a piece by Antonio Jobim and Roland Dyens, a Latin rondo by Hans André Stamm, and Borodaev's original "Arabesques".
