English-speaking indie rockers will perform a big concert at the "Kosmonaut" club. Pompeya, the main heroes of English-speaking indie in Russia, are inspired by 70s disco and funk, as well as 80s and 90s indie and pop music. The first fame came to the performers in 2010 after the release of the "Cheenese EP", and the most famous song to date is "90" from the 2011 album Tropical. It was during that time that the band began to actively tour, solidified its status as an independent collective, and gained a loyal fan base that continues to grow. In addition to several EPs, the band boasts remixes that have ranked high on college radio charts in the USA and on the Hype Machine website. Pompeya has solidified its status as an independent band with a loyal and ever-growing army of fans, and the upcoming concert at "Kosmonaut" will be proof of that.
