The maestro of Russian rock, Alexey Gorshenyov, is celebrating his 50th anniversary. In honor of this date, as well as the 130th anniversary of his favorite poet Sergey Yesenin, the artist is preparing something special. In Alexey Gorshenyov's new show, his fellow musicians, as well as a collective of cellists and wind instrument performers, participated. According to the celebrant himself, the presentation of the material will be unconventional. The artist considers the poet Yesenin his like-minded ally and would like the audience to remember: his poetry is alive and relevant. The anniversary program will be performed only once, in the artist's hometown - St. Petersburg. Yesenin plays a special role in Gorshenyov's work; he has a diptych "The Soul of the Poet" and "The Death of the Poet," which became the basis for the St. Petersburg show. The audience can expect a grand concert where rock and Russian poetic word intertwine, and sound, forms, and colors transform into a spectacle. A poignant story filled with endless love and respect for creativity will unfold on stage.
