"Voice of the Earth" is a sound meditation at the intersection of folk and ambient, where the theremin comes alive in a duet with field recordings and electronic textures. A unique project by Peter Theremin and SymphoCat transforms the music of the world's peoples into a contemplative ritual that awakens memory, body, and planet. An unusual musical evening - the performance "Voice of the Earth" - will take place at the Sergey Kuryokhin Center for Contemporary Art, featuring a rare combination of theremin, ambient, and field recordings. This is a synthesis of genres and meanings, an ode to natural beauty and the deep connection of humans with the Earth. The project features Peter Theremin - an electronic musician and great-grandson of theremin inventor Leon Theremin, and composer SymphoCat - creator of the ambient label "Symphonic Silence Within." Together, they create a hypnotic sound space where traditional melodies of the world's peoples gain new sound in electronic textures, and ancient rhythms connect with technology. The performance is based on the idea of homage to primordial music - that which was born from interaction with nature, wind, breath, and heartbeat. The program includes sound fragments collected from various points on the planet: from the sounds of the forest to the chants of ethnic communities.
