The anniversary of the Gnesin House will be celebrated with a large-scale gala concert, bringing together generations of artists-from outstanding soloists to future stars of the stage. The program includes compositions from Dunaevsky to Beethoven and a rare performance of the Fantasy for choir, orchestra, and piano. In honor of the 130th anniversary of the founding of the Gnesin House, a large-scale gala concert "Gnesin Stars" will take place at the MMDM, uniting masters and students, international competition winners, and future stars of the academic stage under one poster. This event will be significant for all those connected to the musical culture of the country and who remember what true tradition sounds like. The first part will be opened by the Russian Folk Orchestra under the direction of Vladimir Shkurovsky. The audience will be presented with a program that includes works by Isaac Dunaevsky, Jacques Ibert, Dmitri Shostakovich, as well as a suite in the old style created based on melodies of the iconic band The Beatles. This part of the concert will feature a light folkloric charm, intellectual irony, and respect for the musical heritage of the 20th century. In the second part, the stage will be dedicated to one of the most emotionally charged works of Ludwig van Beethoven-"Fantasy for piano, choir, and orchestra." This composition is rarely encountered in concert halls, especially in performances by young artists: soloists, choir, and orchestra of the Gnesin College.
