About

An evening of piano with Sergey Osadchuk is a meeting with the living breath of classical music, where every stroke turns into a story about character and time. From the clear architecture of Haydn to the passionate whirlwinds of Liszt and the Russian depth of Rachmaninoff and Prokofiev - the program is assembled as a journey from light to fire, from thought to emotion. Sergey Osadchuk's piano program is structured as a route through epochs and temperaments - from the transparent logic of the classicists to the nervous pulsation of the 20th century. The pianist offers the listener not just a set of hits, but a sequence of meanings: here, music reveals not a calendar of dates, but characters, spaces, and internal speeds. The concert will begin with the clear world of Haydn - music in which order becomes a source of freedom. In his themes, light, air, and a smile can be heard, but behind the modest intonation hides the brilliance of a pragmatic thinker, where every detail is precise and necessary. This is the point of balance from which it is so pleasant to push off towards the romantic hyperbole of Liszt. In Liszt, space expands: the piano sounds like a whole orchestra, reaching for the abyss, casting sparks. Virtuosity here is not an end in itself, but a way to express passion and daring dreams - that music can transcend the limits of familiar sound and become almost visible. The Russian line of the program - Rachmaninoff and Prokofiev - will open another register of emotions. In Rachmaninoff, there is a longing for lost silence, for a time that will not return, and at the same time - a courageous movement forward. The melody stretches in long phrases, as if from the depths of memory; harmonies burst forth with warm light and do not let go for a long time. Prokofiev, on the other hand, speaks sharply and concisely: his rhythms spring, the angles are deliberately emphasized, and a sarcastic smile often coexists with lyrical transparency. This meeting of two styles gives a rare effect: after Rachmaninoff's confession, one hears more piercingly the irony and bright enthusiasm of Prokofiev, and after Prokofiev's "steel" - one feels more softly the heartfelt nature of Rachmaninoff.
