The program of the grand concert of Italian film music includes soundtracks by Ennio Morricone, Nino Rota, and Henry Mancini. Their music has long transcended the screens, becoming widely performed classics. The concert program will feature themes from the films "The Professional," "The Godfather," "Romeo and Juliet," "Once Upon a Time in America," and many others. The vivid, romantic, and recognizable melodies will evoke strong emotions in the listeners. The program will be performed by St. Petersburg academic and jazz pianist, improviser Stanislav Chigadaev, the women's chamber choir, and the chamber ensemble Sigma Orchestra under the direction of St. Petersburg conductor Maxim Alekseev. The concert will take place in two parts.
