The summer jazz concert will unite students and teachers from music schools. Jazz is great because even a familiar melody sounds a little different each time. The concert program will feature students and teachers from the schools of Anastasia Nekrasova and "Joy of Music". For beginner musicians, this is an important experience performing in front of an audience, and for listeners - an opportunity to enjoy vibrant, lively, and emotional jazz music. The program will include vocal and instrumental compositions, works by Russian and foreign authors. Among them are "Peace" and "Song for my father" by Horace Silver, "Whale Song" by Evgeny Grechishchev, "Caravan" by Juan Tizol and Duke Ellington, "He’s funny that way" by Andrea Motis, and other pieces. The program will conclude with a general jam session - simultaneous improvisation by all concert participants.
