An evening for those who love jazz for its freedom, conversational nature, and live dramaturgy. On one stage, the vocals of Alina Yengibaryan and the saxophone of Anton Chekurov will meet - two musical voices with international experience, original material, and the ability to turn improvisation into a precise, warm, and expressive emotional narrative. This concert is aimed at listeners who are interested in jazz without a museum distance: alive, flexible, attentive to nuances, and open to different musical languages. At the center of the evening is the union of vocals and saxophone, where the voice can lead the melody almost like an instrument, while the wind line responds softly, sharply, or unexpectedly acutely. Alina Yengibaryan has gone through a great school - from children's jazz education in Rostov-on-Don to studying at the Prince Claus Conservatory in Groningen and working in the USA. Winning the Shure Montreux Jazz Vocal Competition, albums "Driving down the road" and "We Are", and collaboration with the Ground-Up Music label showcase her as an artist for whom jazz is connected with personal intonation, freedom of arrangement, and attention to words.
