Virtuosos of the accordion will perform world masterpieces of academic music accompanied by a chamber orchestra. Works by Bach, Mozart, Rachmaninoff, and other composers will be presented in original arrangements. Special attention in the program is given to the works of Vladimir Bonakov - in honor of his 85th anniversary. This event will unite generations of musicians, dancers, and listeners - in gratitude, inspiration, and a celebration of true art. The concert is dedicated to the 85th anniversary of composer, performer, and educator Vladimir Bonakov - a figure who has had a tremendous impact on the development of performing arts in Russia. His students, renowned accordionists Andrey Dmitrienko and Dmitry Khodanovich, will perform a large-scale program accompanied by the Cantilena chamber orchestra. The first part will feature academic masterpieces - from Mozart's divertimento to the overture to "Ruslan and Lyudmila" arranged by Bonakov himself. A special place is reserved for his original "Symphony for Accordion" on the theme of the Battle of Kulikovo, as well as Bach's concerto BWV 1052. The second part of the program includes brilliant transcriptions of Rachmaninoff, Rossini, and Ravel, as well as works by Bonakov himself, including a concert rhapsody and a ballad.
