When a piano, two violins, two cellos, and a trio of great composers gather on one stage, true magnetism occurs. This is an evening for those who want to hear chamber classical music in a sincere, almost intimate sound. This evening will be especially dear to connoisseurs of chamber performance. Instead of the usual symphonic grandeur, there will be a dialogue between the instruments, born live, before the listeners' eyes. Just a few musicians, a few masterpieces, and a complete immersion in the essence of classical music. The program opens with Sergei Rachmaninoff's trio - a rare, refined composition written by the composer in his youth, but already full of mature timbres and melodies. Then, the emotionally charged trio of Dmitri Shostakovich will be performed, written in memory of Ivan Sollertinsky. It combines tragedy, bitterness, and almost physically palpable pain. The evening concludes with the famous work of Pyotr Tchaikovsky - the trio "In Memory of a Great Artist," dedicated to pianist Nikolai Rubinstein. This is one of the composer’s deepest works, where not only sorrow is felt, but also a bright gratitude. On stage will be Denis Matsuev (piano), Lorenz Nasturica-Gershovich and Elena Tarosyan (violins), as well as Borislav Strulev and Alexander Ramm (cellos). Each of them is a renowned musician with an individual style, but together they will create a sound where every phrase and every gesture matters.
